Sub-contract Engineering

We offer various services within the sub-contract section of our company so hopefully whatever your need however big or small we will be able to accommodate.

labelDrilling & Punching

There are a number of drills and punching machines in the factory for making piece parts to drawing for weld assemblies.

We take pride in the work produced making most of our own parts for the Elevators, Conveyors and Sugar Beet Cleaner Loaders.

Our welding facilities allow both Mig and Tig welding, at our Holbeach factory, to the customers drawing.

Jigs can be made or supplied for use on more complex assemblies or larger batch work.

The work is of a high standard and completed by skilled welders. This is backed up by the repeat business we keep by supplying quality work.

The paint shop is large enough to take our largest elevators at 19 metres (62'6") long.

We wet paint with single or two pack paints as required to a gloss finish. The material is cleaned and degreased prior to painting or it can be shotblasted locally.

There are numerous saws on site, a segmental blade saw & various bandsaws. We can saw material up to 420mm X 260mm

They can be utilised for straight cutting or angled cuts where required on box section, circular hollow section, angle, flat, round, universal columns and beams.

The fitting shop is used to assemble and refurbish our own range of machinery ready for despatch.

These facilities give us the flexibility to complete a turnkey operation for customers who require a finished product.

The Durma SBF3006 guillotine will operate on material upto 6mm thick and handle sheet sizes of 3 metres wide.

We can form parts to drawing on our 175 tonne Durma AD-R175 multi axis CNC press supplying accurate components for both our own machines and to customers drawings.

Pressing facilities are available for mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The parts are then ready for welding or painting before final assembly.
